• Instead of continuing this list I should go read Philip Roth and then get a good night's sleep so that I can get up tomorrow and finish all the writing that I didn't finish today

Loathe:

1. Car repairs.  We had to have the van worked on today.  The fuel pressure regulator (or something like that) needed replacing, as did the fuel filter, rear shocks, oil, and battery.  Yikes!
2. Broken dishwashers.  Boy, when it rains it pours.
3. Having a closet full of clothes that don't fit and no money to replace them (see items #1 and 2).  Someone please nominate me for What Not to Wear!!!
4. Having to sell my vacation time to pay for Numbers 1 and 2.
5. That I have to do my phlebotomy rotation tomorrow morning.  I guess this isn't really loathesome, but it is rather terrifying.  I've never in my life stuck another human being with a needle.

Like:

1. Car repairs that aren't as expensive as they could be.  We thought maybe the van's problem was with the fuel pump.  Thankfully it wasn't - that would have cost about twice as much as what we actually did get done.  So it's not all bad.
2. Having people at work who are fun & interesting.  Makes the day go a lot faster!!  Although less productive....but I can consider it "networking," right?
3. Hot tubs on crisp, cold fall evenings.
4. Bedtime.  I'm tired!
5. I'm sure there's more good but I'm too tired to think of them right now!

Although, I have to wonder.....will this really help?
I'm pretty positive that every time I have sent a drunken email that I regretted later,  I could still add.
Or maybe I couldn't?
It wasn't like I tried first.....
Hmm...this could get really bad, really fast.
I can so see me....a few drinks into the night....wondering.....
How drunk do I have to be before I can't do math?
Because yes, at my age, I am still that dumb when I am drinking.
You know the kind of dumb that makes stupid dares appealing.  (let's just say you do NOT want to double dog dare me to do anything when I've had a few....outside of inflicting pain upon myself....because apparently wussiness overrides stupidness in a drunken state.)
That could so seriously turn into a dare.....

Seriously.....I don't know that this is going to thwart people....(what a great word that is...thwart.)
I'll be curious to see where this goes....like how much it's used....who's using it....who's just turning it into a party trick....that kind of stuff.....

• I suck because I haven't done a Things on Tuesday post in f o r e v e r r r r r!
• My television sucks because it always goes out in the 8 o'clock hour. I didn't get to watch 90210 tonight. I will tomorrow. And I'll watch Privileged tomorrow as well. 
• I didn't get my Tall Upsidedown Caramel Macchiato because I'm being good and totally resisted!
• I found a few split-ends!!
• I don't have anymore small moleskins :(

• This autumn weather, omg I LOVE AUTUMN.

• Studied. I have a test on Friday that I feel confident about!
• I wore a headband.
• I've made a new goal: create hippie headwraps (thanks to Chelsea sending me this link. So cute, yet so expensive!) I just have to research on HOW to make headwraps, lols. Because I have no clue.

Went rushing out of here at 5 (15 min late) only to find 2 txt messages that there's no 5:30 class tonight (I could swear her MySpace msg, from Sat, said there was). Option for 6p goof-off with a different instructor, but I can't tell if she was gonna charge me for it. Option for 7p class but I can't stay awake that long.

Can't drive home cause I'm too tired to keep my eyes open in 60+min of stop/go traffic. Especially driving into the sun.

C kinda invited himself over (well, more accurately: I was hinting and he asked), which sounds cool, but he might find me in a coma. Plus that doesn't resolve the prob of getting home first.

So, after 30 min of attempting to nap in the lunch room, I'm back at my desk. Guess I'm gonna do some work and wait for traffic to clear up a bit.

Day shift still sucks!!
