Blizzard Central 2007
OMG!
Everybody jump up and down! It is the end of the world. Errrr, at least that is how the local TV stations are playing it up. They started their evening newscasts at freaking 2pm today. All of you General Hospital fans - you can catch today's episode at 2:05am tonight.
But in all fairness
it is bad. Not upstate NY bad but still bad. We have 7 ft + snow drifts to the north of the city and declared snow emergencies. A snow emergency means that unless you are on the way to hospital because you dying then you will be arrested and sent to GITMO, Cuba. Over here on the farrrrrrr west side we only had 7 inches or so over night. But it has been raining ice all day - just a constant drizzle. The dog has his snow tires on. Poor guy - his 1/2 inch weiner has to drag in the snow.
We are due for
5 inches or so more but the bitch of it all is the wind. 40MPH winds mixed with snow is typically a bad combination.
And I am getting
ready to go be a nut case and drive to the drug store. I'm thinking some vehicular doughnuts are in my future - accidental of course.

Have fun and enjoy the snow when the wind finally stops. We're supposed to get some sort of precipitation tonight and tomorrow. Frankly I don't care - I feel like crud - sick as a dawg, here.
