I Took My Daddy To The Museum
Shhhh...
Hi, it's circle face...
I watched my dad type in his Vox password. He thinks I'm taking my nap - he doesn't know that I am writing this on my Fischer-Price notebook computer. So anyway, my daddy was off today and I didn't want him to feel lonely so I volunteered to stay home and take care of him. He likes to go to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis - but I have to confess I kinda like it too. I love the trains and dinosaurs.
Our day started off
with me telling (yelling?) for daddy to get up. It's funny, there is this little radio looking thing in my room with an antenna on it. Every time I cry or yell then it lights up and mommy or daddy come and check on me. I have them under control this way. Daddy changed my butt and put clothes on me - he doesn't know how to match colors very well so I have to help him pick the right socks and shirts to go with my pants. I wore purple today even though daddy wanted me to wear green because that is his favorite color. My winter coat is green so I talked him into letting me wear purple.
We watched Finding Nemo
while eating poptarts for breakfast. I think daddy really likes Nemo. I know this because he never complains even though we have watched it 45897395 times this weekend - in between football games of course. Daddy always has to finish the last couple bites of my poptarts because my tummy isn't as big and round as daddy's. After we finished watching Nemo we put our coats on and left for the museum. Yay for museums.
daddy's truck. Daddy always plays good music from Radio Disney. I think he is silly for listening to little kids music - I mean he always puts it on that station when I'm with him. The trip to the museum takes about 30 minutes which gives me plenty of time to sing to my daddy. He likes for me to sing and I like to sing to him. Sometimes he sings with me. He doesn't know his ABCs very well so I have to help him along. And sometimes we sing jingle bells even when it's not Christmas. Once we arrived at the museum I told daddy to get a picture of the dinosaurs breaking out of the side of the dinosphere dome. Those dinosaurs are always doing that when we go to the museum. You'd think that the museum people would find a way to stop them from doing that. What do I know?
I took my daddy
inside and immediately went to dinosphere. He likes when I take him there. Dinosphere has a life like recreation of a prehistoric environment. I like to look at and touch the bones. They play sounds and change the lighting to make it seem like a day has passed and a thunderstorm is coming in. It is so cool in there. I think daddy gets scared sometimes so I hurried and took him out the back way and toward the trains.
The trains are my
favorite even though I'm a girl. I think daddy digs that. I like watching the electric trains go around and round behind the glass. They have a spot where I can crawl under and look back out at daddy - like I'm inside the train set. Next, I took him to see the Chihuly glass exhibit. This exhibit won't be here much longer - I think it has been here for a year now or it seems. Daddy always like to ride the carousel so I take him up to the 4th floor to ride on it. Daddy gets scared so he rides a horse that doesn't go up and down and so do I - just
We left the museum
when daddy started getting cranky. It's weird, when I start rubbing my eyes daddy says that means I am tired. But what I think it really means that daddy is tired and he just uses that as an excuse to take a nap. I just play along. We were going to go to Pizza Safari but since I was getting tired (ahem) we went to the McDonald's play place instead. I eats me some Chicken McNuggets and fruit of course and daddy has a Big Mac. I didn't want daddy to feel bad so I went to sleep on the way home. He always holds me so tight and gives me a sloppy smooch when he puts in my bed.
Well I better go
for now - I don't want daddy to know that I am typing this instead of sleeping.
Peace,
Circle Face

Little Lovely,
Print this out...keep a copy (to have for yourself, and for when Daddy's memory starts going!)
You are good to your Daddy, and he loves you very much—I can tell.
Sleep well.
and Vox doesn't always listen...I said, THIS IS GOOD!
I like it. Bless you both. xxxx
Great post circle face ;)
Oh, wait...
YAY CIRCLE FACE!
And you should tell Daddy not to eat Big Macs - a balanced diet is not a Big Mac in each hand...
Hugs from Boookmole
I think I've read about Circle Face before when you've been [tig] or favorited, she's adorable!
Thanks for taking Daddy to the museum so we could read about it!
