The NFL decides
the host city for Super Bowl 46 today.  Last year we were out bid out bought narrowly defeated by Dallas/North Texas for the 2011 game.  The pundits claim that we have the better shot if the superiority of last year's presentation is any indication.

IF
we get the game then it will be hosted at Lucas Oil Stadium which opens in less than 4 months.  The first game there will be the opening game of the season for the Colts and the Bears.

If I don't get to see next Thursday night's game then I am going to be an upset consumer.  You guys and your greed have left the fans in the lurch - as always.  The fact that I don't have the NFL Network nor can I order it on my Brighthouse cable system (aka Time Warner) just pisses the hell out of me.  I don't like going to bars to watch the games so please get your shit straight guys.

I was very lucky
to see last night's game at home due to the NFL's self imposed rules of putting cable games on a local station in the team's home markets (IND/ATL) only.  Next week, if you don't have access to NFL Network or your are not in Green Bay or Dallas then you will not see this game.

Granted there are bigger
issues int he world but this is the one I'm pissed about right this minute.

It doesn't hurt
as bad I thought it would, thankfully.  The Pats were the better team - today.  Good on them.

I think the take aways
from today's game are are that the Pats are overrated but still damn good.  The Colts D performed very well against the best offense in the league.  The Pats' patty cake schedule came to an abrupt halt today and it doesn't look good for them.  The Colts need to get healthy.  I'm hoping to see these guys again in January.

Anyway, I think
both teams will lose 3 more games.

Colts vs. Patriots tickets going for $5,000-plus.  Ticket scalping is legal in Indiana.  It's too bad we can't ship the Pats to the NFC so that they can actually have some competition against the AFC.

Just getting back to the hotel
and saw on the lobby TVs one Miss Kelly Clarkson singing from the circle.  I think she is so - damn.  Kelly over Faith Hill any day.  They need to pull back on the shots of downtown circle so that viewers can see the whole thing.  I'm still bummed that I'm not at home in downtown Indy enjoying the festivities.

On Johnny Cougar
- please take that guy and Larry Bird and export them to Arizona or Alabama or something.  Both of those guys are so far past their expiration dates they make chunky milk look nipple fresh.  If you've ever heard Mellancamp get diarrhea of the mouth then you will know what I mean.  This guy is one of the most stupid liberals I've ever met.  Nothing wrong with the liberal part ... the stupid part is what makes him an embarrassment to his state and his politics.

My orals went well today.
I'm down on a couple screw ups but my peer reviews came back great.  We will see.  We should find something out on Sep 20th.

PS to John Mellancamp: Please smoke some more cigarettes.  Your face doesn't look enough like a retreaded tractor trailer tire already.
